ゼロの状態
『BLUE ICE（Book 2）』の第7章は、「A Relationship with Every Atom」（すべての原子との関係）です。
序盤は「家だけでなく車も、私たちが言っていることを理解している」（Cars understand what we are saying, as well as houses.）といった話題で、ヒューレン博士はこんな実例を挙げています。
Someone taking the Hoʻoponopono class owned a construction business. She talked about how important it was to talk to the boards, the nails, the colors and all the equipment that was involved. When she did this, the development progressed much more quietly and cost less money, as compared to the old fashioned way, where you don’t talk to anything and you think that these things will just work out.

「ホ・オポノポノのクラスを受講していたある人は、建設業を営んでいました。彼女は、板、釘、塗料など、関連するすべての機材に話しかけることがいかに重要かを語りました。これを行ったときには、何にも語りかけずにうまくいくと思っていた古い方法と比べて、開発はずっと穏やかに進み、費用も少なくてすみました。」
章の終盤では、「ゼロの状態」について語られています。
Allow the Divinity in you to transmute the memories and take you back to nothing. It takes you back to what Morrnah calls balance and what I like to call Zero. （中略）
So being at Zero allows whatever is perfect and right to come in. And for me, when I do the cleaning, I’m never cleaning for a particular result or outcome.

「あなたの中の神（ディヴィニティー／神聖なる存在）が記憶を変容させ、あなたを無に返すことを容認してください。それはモーナがバランスと呼ぶもの、私が好んでゼロと呼ぶものへと、あなたを戻します。（中略）
ゼロであると、完璧で正しいものは何でも入ってくるようになります。そして私の場合は、クリーニングを特定の結果や成果のためにしていません。」
ゼロの状態とは、ブッダの言う「void（空）」、イエスの言う「purity of heart」、シェイクスピアの言う「blank」であると、ヒューレン博士はしばしば語っています。
モーナは「balance」と呼んでいたのですね。
KRさんは、以下のように語っています。
Being Zero or being Nothing for me means when my Uhane, the Conscious mind, and my Unihipili, the Subconscious mind, are in harmony with each other, and joined together. As always, when the two are united, they join with the Aumakua. So we establish the relationship between the Uhane and the Unihipili, we do our petitions, and we ask for the transmutations to happen.

「私にとって、ゼロであること、無であることとは、私のウハネ（表面意識）とウニヒピリ （潜在意識）が調和して一体となっていることを意味します。いつでも、2つが一体となると、彼らはアウマクア（超意識）と手を取り合います。私たちはウハネとウニヒピリの関係を確立し、祈願し、変容が起こることを求めます。」
章の最後は、こんな言葉で締めくくられています。
And ultimately as you clean, you blame less, you think less, and you get to the cleaning faster! Because that’s what the cleaning is about. It’s to dissolve and resolve the memories and free yourself from them so you can get back to being yourself.

「そしてクリーニングをするにつれて、最終的には、責めることが少なくなり、考えることが少なくなり、クリーニングが早くできるようになります！ クリーニングとはそういうものだからです。記憶を溶かし、分解し、記憶から自分を解放するので、自分自身に戻ることができるのです。」
これで、「Book 2」の本編は終わりです。
